1. What can I donate?
You can donate any baby materials that have been previously owned, hand-made, store bought, or brand new.
*ANY size clothing, hand knit or purchased/previously owned is needed.*

You may also donate monetarily if your heart desires.
Checks can be made directly payable to Newborns In Need.
All cash will be handled in person and a receipt will be issued.
Credit card payments can not be taken at this time. *As of February 6, 2012.*
3. Where can I drop off my donation or when can my donation be picked up?
The donation(s) can be dropped off at my school or home and the donations can be picked up from your home, job, store, church, etc. For details, please use the "Contact Me" page to ensure that your donation will get to a child in need.
From the Newborns In Need website, here is the list of general monetary donations, but are not strictly limited to this:
$10.00 – Buys flannel for five receiving blankets, bibs and burp cloths
$25.00 – Fills a cloth tote bag with body and bath care items, blankets and basic sleepwear
$35.00 – Provides a starter kit of newborn diapers, soap and baby wipes for 6 newborns
$50.00 – Provides baby wash, wipes, a quilt, and a weeks worth of infant formula
$75.00 - Provides clothing, diapers, formula, baby hygiene products, fleece blankets and a soft toy.
$100.00 - Provides a safe, isolated sleeping area to prevent the dangerous practice of co-sleeping with a newborn baby.
$500.00 – Provides 3 newborn babies with all the basic essentials they need to have a safe, secure start
4. I am worried about where my donation(s), both materials and money are going, how can I be sure they will be used sufficiently to "Help Our Babies" ?
This is a senior service project, where all the money and materials donated must be checked and accounted for by both the school project advisers and the Newborns In Need chapter advisers. If there is still any weariness about where your donation is going, you can directly donate to the Newborns In Need below chapter address that is facilitating me with this project. Please in some memo or letterhead, make the donation in correspondence to: Destiny LeVere's Service Project.
